The Upskilling Hour Strikes Again



Following the success of its maiden edition in March, the Faculty and Satellite Campus Libraries (FSCL) at Admiralty University of Nigeria held another enriching session of The Upskilling Hour on 9th of April 2025.


This time, we had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Obinna Martins, Administrative Officer from the Department of Software Engineering, who continued from where Mr. Sylvester Ebhonu (Head, FSCL) had stopped the previous month. He shared valuable insights on research writing. From breaking down key definitions to walking us through the steps involved, it was an eye-opening and practical session — and yes, we left better and with great a Call To Action!


We were especially glad to have virtual participation from colleagues at the Main University Library, making this session even more collaborative and impactful.


Huge appreciation to our University Librarian, Dr. (Mrs.) Gladys N. Onyia, for her unwavering support and commitment to staff development across all library units.
